Debbie Keplar Wilson

With the summer Olympics taking place this year, our July VIKING SPOTLIGHT features NHS alumnus Debbie Keplar Wilson, who graduated from Northland High in 1973.

After graduation from Northland, Debbie competed for the Ron O’Brien Diving School in Columbus. She won the women’s 1973 AAU outdoor platform diving competition. Debbie married and later competed in diving as Debbie Wilson. In 1976 she won the US Trials and went on to compete in the Montreal Olympics, where she received a bronze medal as the leading American diver in the Women’s 10 Meter Platform.
