March Valhalla Newsletter 2016

Hello Northland Alumni and Friends,

We are planning out our 50th Anniversary for Northland High School. It is the coming school year of 2016-2017. It will kick off with our annual NHSAF Alumni All-Class Reunion the first Saturday in August at Flannagan’s August 6th, 2016. And, we are planning a golf outing in August, have our Alumni NHS Football Game in September, events with the theater and music departments, Alumni Basketball Game and Alumni Wrestling Match around the Christmas Holidays, and in the spring of 2017 a NHSAF dinner roast to NHS. But, we need alumni help to pull off all these events. Our call to action is requesting your help and support in joining us to develop and build these events.

We are coming up on the One Year Anniversary of our inaugural NHSAF Roast (the Chuck Roast) for our beloved mentor Chuck Deyo. In celebration to his memory we have included a couple pictures. If you can remember Chuck’s legacy with a tax-deductible donation to our NHSAF Scholarship Fund (Deyo Scholarship Fund) we would appreciate your consideration. If you need a tax deduction receipt for contributions to NHSAF in year 2015 please, let us know.

It thrives today in our community. “Northland is a real special place for me and my life.  I absolutely loved being there and it was a gift for me.” Tom Harris’ motto is, “If you work harder than the next person, you’re going to end up being better and more successful.” Please see the website attachments about this spotlight in our Viking history:
