March 2020 Newsletter

Hello Northland Alumni and Friends.

As we hear more and more about the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the news, our federal, state and local government officials are taking major precautions to help slow the potential spread. Still, we should remain proactive when it comes to maintaining our health and preparing for potential outbreaks. Please stay safe.

We've gathered information from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on basic protective measures.

Prevention

Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands

Avoid close contact with people who are sick

Stay home when you are sick

Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue away

Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces

NHSAF Golf Outing

Many events have been postponed or cancelled due to the pandemic. Currently our alumni golf outing is still planned. The NHSAF Alumni Golf Outing is only 3 months away. This year we are at the Chapel Hill GC. Mark your calendar for June 27th and contact your friends to join us for this fun in the sun event supporting NHS.

The meeting starts at 6:30pm.
