April 2021 Newsletter

Hello Northland Alumni and Friends.

Our annual bowling event was held on Sunday, 4/25 at Sequoia Pro Bowl. With the virus, the numbers were down but the fun was up. We even had a group from the NHS Bowling team join us. We plan on moving next year's event back to February, we hope to see you then.

NHSAF 2021 ALUMNI GOLF OUTING

Our 7th annual NHSAF Alumni Golf Outing is less than 2 months away, happening on Saturday, June 26th at Chapel Hill GC. Reach out to your classmates, friends and neighbors and put together a foursome. Due to the Covid situation we will maintain a more basic golf outing similar to last year, without a dinner or raffle prizes. Proceeds will go to support programs for the students at NHS. We appreciate all of our golfers and hole sponsors. Click the link below for our event flyer.

NHS FLASHBACK... 1981

Remember 1981? The median income was $22,390. The average cost of a new home was $78,000, and an average new car cost $5,743. We here at NHSAF are always looking for "new" members to get on board with us; attend our meetings, offer ideas, and/or help with organizing and setting up events. Please consider joining us at our next monthly meeting.

The meeting will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 13th, 2021 and starts promptly at 6:30pm.
