Hello Northland Alumni and Friends,

NHSAF 2021 ALUMNI GOLF OUTING

Our 7th annual NHSAF Alumni Golf Outing is less than 2 months away, happening on Saturday, June 26th at Chapel Hill GC. Reach out to your classmates, friends and neighbors and put together a foursome. Due to the Covid situation we will maintain a more basic golf outing similar to last year, without a dinner or raffle prizes. Proceeds will go to support programs for the students at NHS. We appreciate all of our golfers and hole sponsors. Click the link below for our event flyer.

2021 Chuck Deyo Scholarship

We proudly announce that our Chuck Deyo Scholarship winner for 2021 is Fatima Henderson. 

Fatima ran both Cross Country and Track and Field for all of her four years at Northland and was Captain of both during her senior year. She also was a four year member of both Concert Band and Marching Band.

As our winner, Fatima will receive $1,500 to use towards her college education at Denison University where she will be majoring in Psychology while also pursuing a double minor in business and marketing. 

Congratulations Fatima!

Tuesday, June 8, 2021 6:30pm -NHSAF Monthly Meeting (2nd Tuesday of each month) This meeting will be "In Person" at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub, 1515 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, Oh 43240.  Meeting starts promptly at 6:30pm, come early if you plan on eating.

NHS ALUMNI REUNIONS

Just Added - -  1968-1972 Band and Valkyrie members will be gathering at 6:30pm, Saturday August 7th at Flannagan's, prior to the All Year Reunion. Check the link below for more details on the Band and Valkyrie reunion as well as all other reunions we are aware of.

YEARBOOKS

NHSAF is working with the Yearbook team at Northland to sell yearbooks in storage at the school. A list of years and quantites is being compiled, but let us know what year/s you'd like to buy.

Our goal is to raise money to purchase a new camera for the Yearbook staff to use for the 2022 yearbook!

Price is $30 plus shipping, a great savings over the $90 we've seen at online sites.If you are interested, please contact Marc Schmid Class of 82' at mschmid.alum@northlandhigh.com

NHSAF 2020-2021 Fundraiser Update

Our fundraising focus this past year was the Northland Instrumental Music program. Through your generosity with cash donations and participation in our fundraising projects we were able to raise $7,900!

The bulk of the funds are going to the much needed repair and replacement of current instruments, which has already started. Additionally, the Marching Band uniforms are being professionally cleaned and repaired as well. Once the work is completed we will have pictures and a complete update on the final work. Again, thank you everyone who generously donated to this worthy cause.

Join our Monthly Alumni Meeting

Interested in getting involved? Our next NHSAF monthly organization meeting will be held in-person on Tuesday, June 8, 2021. The meeting starts at 6:30pm and will be held at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub, 1515 Polaris Pkwy, Columbus, Oh 43240
