NHSAF 2021 "ALL CLASS" ALUMNI REUNION

Summer is here and our Alumni Reunion is Rapidly approaching. Join the "All Class" reunion at Flannagan's, 6835 Caine Road, Columbus, Ohio 43235 - off 270 and Sawmill Road.

NHSAF Alumni Reunion - 7:00pm - Saturday, August 7th at Flannagan's

Walk through the Halls of NHS the same day during an OPEN HOUSE from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Don't miss the opportunity to check out your old homeroom again after all these years or see the Viking ship still painted on the gymnasium wall.

Contact old friends and classmates, let's make this a day you will remember with old stories and new conversation.

2021 NHSAF ALUMNI GOLF OUTING

Thanks to all the people who came out for our annual golf outing in June. There were 16 foursomes and 15 hole sponsors to support NHSAF this year - check it out on our website. All participants and sponsors gave us a good start to fundraising for the 2021-2022 school year. Our main focus is to help the NHS Baseball and Softball programs. Special thanks go to Pam Jones-Zeirott's efforts again with the golf event. Pam's plan for next year is to add dinner and a full line-up of gifts back into this event.

LEMONS to LEMONADE for NHS during Covid

Have you had a big change during Covid that led to a happy ending? When my office closed in March 2020, we all thought we'd be back in a few months, even though the intent was just two weeks! Little did we know that many coworkers would be off much longer. As it turned out, the office never did reopen. The building was sold within 6 weeks in April 2021. The lemonade? It sold pretty quickly and everyone works remotely now.

The mass office clean-out brought a stoke of luck... lemonade for Northland this time. Dealing with educational resources for grades K-12, the company had hundreds of books to clear out in warp-speed fashion. Many Texts and popular trade books for high school found a new home at Northland. The librarian, Mrs. Trimble, handily divided the books up so that they would service a few different needs at NHS! Finding a new home for over 200 books was a win-win!

Join our Monthly Alumni Meeting

Interested in getting involved? Our next NHSAF monthly organization meeting will be held in-person on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. The meeting starts at 6:30pm and will be held at Donato's on Tamarack Circle. Come early if ordering food.

Northland we will all be true. Hearts unite in song for you. Wave we high the green and gold. Mem'ries last 'tho years will roll. Lives are molded by your frame. Loyalty is not in vain. Echo back the proud reply, we are for you old Northland High.
