Flashback to 1968

Northland High School had some big events as well. The biggest of which was the first graduating class. The Class of 1968.

Not to mention the first Homecoming Game, Dance and the crowning of the first Homecoming Queen, Brenda Biehl. The Homecoming also heard the first singing of “The Northland Aurora” our Alma Mater.

And just look at these youngsters that were at NHS in 1968, some of our own NHSAF active members and Board members.

Another notable event that school year was the painting of the Viking Head in the school gym.
